I now understand from YT'ers that I need to supplement phosphorus and calcium, the vitamins have that but are not specific about how much my baby needs- it only lists what % is in the vitamin-that's no help! I am looking into using something called missing link in the next few weeks. Anyone ever use it? |
Missing Link isn't concentrated enough for homecooking. Additional supplements will need to be added if you use it. The only all-in-one for homcooking that I know of is Balance IT, however, the regular Balance IT Canine contains menadione (not very good). I use Balance IT K but it is meant for dogs with health issues, so I'm not sure you can use it in a healthy dog. There are some recipes online that are balanced but nothing that I really like. It is really best to just talk to a nutritionist about your particular dog.
