Ok, my question is this.

Marley..the little darlin that he is..is gorgeous in every way...cept... his coat is so cottony..that he matts easily. Every other day I groom him,( much to his horror and mine, as he hates it) I have new matts to try to get out or eventually cut out.
I do not want to keep him shaved or cut short, especially in the winter. He's now 7 months old, or almost is... and I was wondering if it is possible he could grow a less cottony coat?

Please say YES.......hahaha
