They will be fine, once they have time to adjust, I wouldn't force interaction, that will just end in someone getting scratched!

My cat went from a 1 dog household to a 4 dog household, she is outnumbered but is the queen bee. When the dobbie was a puppy she would try to play with the cat - all it took is one small scratch to teach the dobbie the cat's boundries.

Don't force anything, just let them work it out on their own.
