We had miniture poms for years before we got our first yorkie I think the difference in energy is this...both our poms for about an hour every night ran and i do mean ran around and around the inside of the house lol no wonder they were good sleepers when the time came...Laddy on the other hand loves to play but in the evenings if we let him would just lay beside us and sleep so......... you might try this.....get a fisherprice or similar babies first remote control car...almost indestructable and our furbaby loves to chase and tackle it. When they let go off you go with it again and you dont have to move off the sofa
