You did a wonderful thing. Stay in touch ...she's sick, and she may need help. You and Lulu will be Cooper's safe haven when things get bad. It should make her feel better, too - knowing that Cooper has people who love him.
In her position, I would be very grateful knowing that I could share my last days with a beloved pet, and that someone would be there to care for him when I no longer could. |
