Default Crate training

Hi Harley! I'm certainly no expert since my 4 & 6 yr olds still have accidents, but I would certainly contain him for a few reasons . . . 1- chewing, I have lost many a pair of shoes. 2- accidents, if you have him in a crate, use a portion of a 12pk of pop case to fill up some of the extra space. The more room they have, the more likely to potty and poo in the crate. If you are planning on using potty pads (never worked with mine) make sure he has a bed in an enclosed area with food, water, toys etc. with his pad off to one side. If you have a neighbor you trust that is home during the day, see if they will check on him a couple times while you're at work. 3- If you will be at work during the day, this is such a new environment which can be scary all on it's own, just to keep him comfortable may help from future anxeity issues. Hope this helps!
