When Zoe was drooling so bad, we took her to the vet and it was determined she was allergic to her flea med. She was on Comfortis, the monthly pill. Once we changed over to a topical flea med, no more drooling!! It was definitely the meds. Don't know what flea med your pup is on, but if it's Comfortis; this is a possibility for the drooling!
