I really think the postage did her in. The minimum for priority mail...which she used for awhile...is 4.85 and it goes up depending on the zone. Case in point...at Christmas I shipped a lazydaisy sculptured yorkie, 2 hair bows, and a small package of chocolate treats...cost to ship from Va to Ca... 11.85.
This thread has gone beyond informative...it sounds like a witch hunt. JMHO. |
I am sorry - this post was not in anyway meant to be a witch hunt. I just think people are rightfully shocked and upset and are expressing how they feel. I agree with you regarding the postage (many suggested the proper postage), regardless, there was still money & books left, she told me that herself.
I disagree with you-Missy did not own the cookbooks solely-yorkietalkers as a whole did, there were others that worked just as hard, and donated their time & most importantly the recipes, with the acknowledgement that the proceeds would go to yt! The donations were done for Yorkietalkers, the website and for the benefit of all our furbabies.
