Even Lady, with all her health issues (including liver damage) and medications, can safely take Tramadol for arthritis pain.

My vet sometimes gives a shot for pain right away for a UTI, but no follow up pain pills. If the antibiotics work, the pain goes away pretty quickly.
I really wish i knew if she was in pain or not. I want to discontinue Rimadyl use but feel I should consult my vet first. Also, what if she is still in pain. I really cannot tell she seems fine to me. Shes romping around like her usual self.

What is liver shunt? How is a bile acid test conducted? I'd like to request one from my vet. Bindi was on Rimadyl once before a couple weeks back for about 1 week or so.

Any thoughts or suggestions?

btw I appreciate everyone's help and insight
thank you.
