For awhile I was using a cheap bath mat, so when she stepped off the pad her feet would hit the mat before hitting the floor and it would soak up any pee she stepped in. Then I could just throw the mat in the wash every week. It did work for awhile. Unfortunately, she started also peeing on the mat
Not sure how well Lily does with carpet and rugs, but Layla doesn't do so well!
