Ellie May, what do you floss with? Human dental floss? Is the technique the same as for your own teeth? I have never heard of flossing a dog's teeth!

Yes, human floss the same as with our teeth. I sometimes use the long string in the plastic container and sometimes use the individual flossers with plastic handles. She does lock her jaws sometimes and it can be quite painful.

The floss with the plastic handles breaks easily with her. I can't do a great job with it but it seems to be enough to be worth it. If there is any chance that your dog will be able to swallow the floss, skip it.
