The package of flea/tick preventative will give an age and weight that you can start using it at. I think Frontline is 8 weeks. You can start using it if your pup meets the guidelines on the package. It is just good to wait so not so many drugs need to be given throughout the year. If there was only one tick and you got it, then there really wouldn't be a reason to do anything. Of course with any tick issues, there are diseases that can develop but that depends on your area. It sounds like she'll be okay. On a slightly different subject, do you have the Tick Twister? It is supposed to be the best way to remove them but thankfully I've never gotten to try fine. It releases less toxins into the dog this way.
