I wouldn't call Buster yappy, but he definitely is vocal. He'll bark when he hears the garage door open, when he really really wants you to play fetch with him, or when there's a lot of commotion outside. It's only very rarely obnoxious.

One thing I've noticed: he's only vocal inside our house. In public, he never, ever barks.
