Buster wants to play fetch from the moment he gets up in the morning until it's time to go to bed. When I get home from work, he hops at my feet for me to pick him up and give me a lick, and then when I put him down he runs and finds a toy.
He can play fetch for hours without getting bored.
But he does like to tug on his toys. I tell him I won't play fetch with him unless he drops his toy for me and then lets me pick it up without him trying to get it. If he reaches for it too soon, I give a quick "no!" and then look up at the ceiling for 10 seconds or so. Eventually he gets the idea, there's no tug of war, and it's a lot of fun! |
