It sounds like something is really wrong here.
You can try canned pure pumpkin for the constipation but it seems that would just be covering up an underlying problem. Some foods don't agree with some dogs and they can cause gas. You can try changing the food but at this point I'd consider gettng some testing done. Shaking can be from the normal (cold or scared), it can be from food moving through the intestines and causing pain or it could be something else...possibly neurological.
Not only is it a good idea not to give chocolate, it can be very dangerous to dogs. It can cause neurologic symptoms and even death. Dogs should NEVER be given chocolate.
