Oh no don't feel bad
Things are much more expensive here in the UK, when I look for things for sale in the states they usually work out half the price than they are in the UK or even less than that! Yeah the shipping costs are awful, I could do it cheaper but I insist on tracking and sign for delivery, it has such a long way to go. Plus even though I try to keep the package/s light I always go over 2kg-its alot cheaper (about a third) if I could manage to do that
The last two GE's I had the same person buying for us and she was a student
I felt awful
But the shipping costs on the package were less than $20 and since I donate $20 towards shipping costs at least that helped! And we got some great stuff! She put alot of thought into it and even included little gifts for my other two dogs (non-yorkie).
I'm always amazed by what people on here mange to get in dollar stores
we don't such good stuff in our £1 stores (equiv.$1.30)! Everyone who signs up knows that the minimum spend is $25 and I've seen people recieve just that (not often) but its really not about the money. Its about making friends and having fun!!!
