Mine TOO!!! My baby girl does the exact same thing. She's about the same age as yours too (born November 19th). It's more of a cross between crying and barking, more of a cry though. She usually does it for about 10 minutes or a little more then just gives up once she knows I'm NOT coming back.
I'm no expert, but this is what I do...
If she does start to bark or cry, I NEVER go back to her to console her. I think in a sense they are just like human babies where if you pick them up every time they cry, they will learn that that's a way to get your attention and they will then cry every time they want picked up or need your attention.
It's SOOO hard to hear my Lexi bark and especially cry when she is alone. But I HAVE TO let her. I don't want to teach her to bark or cry every time she wants something. I don't want to spoil her.
