Hi...I just had my 8 month old yorkie spayed and she weighed 3 lbs. She did very well. She was back to herself within a week. If you have a good vet that knows how to administer anesthesia you should have no problems. My suggestion is if you do not plan to breed her, it is better to have her spayed.
