When my GD, Mimi's pup, bites my finger...I let out a "ouch!" & she looks at me & licks it. It's the cutest thing. When pups are playing w/their littermates, & someone bites, they'll let out a 'YELP!' to let the biter know that it hurts. Usually, you'll want to pull away the hand or feet after you let out an ouch, but in my case...since she licked it, I didn't.
