 Confused about feeding
We took Adie and Skeeter to the new vet Saturday and now I am more confused about feeding them than I have ever been! Adie is a really picky eater and Skeeter is, we, Skeeter is a little pig and a full pound overweight. With 4 dogs I finally got everyone on the same food and now the vet tells me that we need to switch foods every couple of months because one food doesn't give them everything they need. She suggested that I switch the little ones to Bil Jac. I always thought that was a cheap food like a Walmart brand but she says no. What do y'all think? She recommends 1/4 cup of food once a day for the yorkies, adj 3/4 cup for the Shih tzu. (We are lucky if we can keep her at 12lbs. Plus she is almost 10 years old and I want her to be able to digest and chew her food ok. |
