Anyone else use these?

I just got a 1 lb bag of 5 inch sticks for Max.
It says they are odor free but I smell some smell.
It was $15 but I want to eliminate all raw hide treats.
Somnow hw will be using Sam's Yams and Bully Sticks.

How long should I let him have it to chew on?
How often per day?
How many is too many per week?

I also switched his food back to the EVO Turkey & Chicken Small Bites. HE is SO much HAPPIER eatting this food. It was like he was being forced to eat the other. He "enjoys" EVO. I hope this makes sense. LOL
