If there are that many fleas and ticks your pup is going to have to be on a fulltime flea and tick med like Frontline or Sentinel
also he's getting them from somewhere .... most likely from a source outside
clear any brush that you have where your dog roams
if your bed had become infested best is to trash it and get a new mattress
This kind of thing has to be hit at all angles or else it's going to haunt you
