She is with a rescue group....not in a shelter. The ones in shelters are the ones that need to be rescued.
The ones in rescue groups have been rescued from whatever bad situation they were in and are looking to be adopted.
When you see a yorkie in a rescue group, it means he/she is being well taken care of and can stay there forever if no one adopts him/her.
