When I think my puppies are going to be that tiny I dont ever let them go till they are AT LEAST 4 months old most un ethical breeder will set there scale back to read what they want you to see I would never ever send a 2 pound puppie home with a Novice..I have had a liver shunt babie who i had to cook for every day and medicate constatly before we lost her at 2 years old i had spent close to 4 thousand dollars .. and blood sweat and tears and lets talk about having a full second set of teeth pulled ...at six pounds you dont have to fear a baby jumping off the bed and loosing her .. 2 more pounds mean a safe longer living healthy yorkie .. I know this was a slight rant .. but I am the person who will tell a prospective buyer No .. this is not the right dog for you ..if she did switch the dog or tell you a false weight thats not right .. its wrong .. but six pounds is still breed ... at a healthy size
