Hi all,
I am in the process of brainstorming whether we should bring another dog into our home. Violet (our yorkie) is the love of our lives, but I feel like she may like a companion for when my daughter and I are away, etc..
While I truly do love having a yorkie, it took us a year and a half to get her potty trained, and I don't know if I have it in me to do it again with another yorkie right now.
I am wondering if you experts on here could suggest a breed that would be
A.) a safe companion for her and B.) perhaps more easily potty trained? I am looking at possibly Havanese? I do prefer a non-shed dog like Violet. I'd be open to something slightly bigger, but not a large breed.
Mainly because we live in a condo so no free outside play is possible, only leashed walks... leaving out very active breeds like labs, etc.. who need more outdoor exercise.
