I know many people use cheerios when training a young pup, while not particularly healthy, they probably aren't unhealthy and so small they don't interfere with the appetite. I think it took about 10 cheerios to get Joey through his early bathing sessions. And food rewards are very effective at getting them to associate grooming with a pleasant experience. Joey also loves frozen green beans that have been warmed, not the canned kind as they have too much salt. About the only vegetable that you want to avoid is onion, don't give anything that contains onion. I've read that they like most fruits as well, and you might want to check out the "forbidden list."

Frozen bananas are a great idea for teething puppies! I'm not sure you want to give them too much variety when they are so young. Human babies are more likely to develop allergies, if a food is given too soon, I don't know if this translates to dogs, but most of us don't even have our puppies at 8 weeks.
