Ok, so if this is a "marking" behavior, how do we change it? We don't want to rehome him, if possible we would like to train him and make him more a part of our family. He spends more time than I would like in a pen because we can't trust him. He will sneak off and poo in an upstairs room or pee in a corner. Now we have to worry about our furniture too? He use to be "safe" in the rooms we were in, but that changed too I mean...he urinated in my LAP, not a little leak, a big puddle! He doesn't piddle when excited (my mother had a cocker spaniel who did) He is holding his urine all night and while we are out at work, so I don't think it's and illness. So...what to do??
