The first time we noticed the squinting was on the weekend, and we took Joey to the emergency room, that's where I got the Gentak, it seemed to work, almost overnight. We had to take Joey for more follow up tests with the regular vet, and the ulcer was gone at the second check. During the following months, I would occasionally use the Gentak, at the first sign of squinting. He was always better the next day. Then his eye flared up again, and I asked the vet for a refill and they gave me Vetropolycin, I had to use half a tube before I saw any improvement, it just didn't seem as good as the Gentak. If he actually gets another ulcer, I will get the Gentak.
