I've been reading the forum since Dec. but wanted to wait until I actually had my baby home before posting. I hope there is room here for the both of us?

I had a precious Pomeranian for 13 short years and said "I will never get another dog, they are like kids". That was almost 10 years ago. Two years ago I fell in love with my sister in law's Yorkie and when I found out reciently her dog was going to have puppies, I said, "I want a girl, if she has one", before realizing what came out of my mouth.

Our kids are grown and both my husband and I share our home with two Cockatiels and now a fur baby. She is 9 weeks old this coming Monday. I had forgotton how much energy a puppy can have, I'm exhausted. She has been so sweet and loves to lay on my chest coved with a blanket one minute and the next she's running around the house at 90 mi an hour.
