Thanks...the bed is actually a lined wicker basket, rather like a baby bassinette.
What is funny is that we went to the pet store yesterday to get her a harness and she was in the basket Since the South African sun is very intense, I put her crocheted blanket over the top of the basket for the walk through the parking lot. When we got into the store, which was busy, a few people looked at the basket and looked away. One little girl, however came over and asked to see. I pulled back the crocheted blanket and she cooed over Puddin a bit, then asked me what kind of dog she was.
The minute I said "Yorkie," everybody in the store rushed over!! The manager said she thought I had a human baby in the basket and was in no hurry to take a look, but the minute she realized it was a Yorkie puppy, she couldn't get there fast enough!
Hubby and I got a good laugh over that one!
Do Yorkies draw that kind of attention all the time??
