The others are right, just make sure they do not have access to each other and it will be fine. At least you were aware and asked when in doubt.

I volunteer for rescue and from everything that I have learned from rescue, the female is usually the larger of the pair. But I could be wrong so please do not take my opinion as being a breeding expert. I would suggest that you speak to your vet about your dilemma. I am sure he could answer your breeding questions further.
