I was beginning to think I sounded "jerky" or something when I replied...
The lady I was referring to was a local breeder.......advertises 'teacup' yorkies and I was interested...(my former yorkie was 13 pounds!!!) in a 'smaller....more like normal' yorkie but was hesitant about the use of the term teacup.....
Went to visit these pups...and they were small, just like puppies..I asked to see the mom (this is the one breeder stated was 2 1/2 pounds)...the breeder came out holding this poor momma dog by the scruff of the neck....that dog weighed at least 6 pounds!!!
I know there are really tiny yorkies out there......but this one wasn't one of them.
I also question the real weight of the mentioned "13 ounce yorkie".....but just my opinion....guess it doesn't really matter.
