 Thor has mastered fetch!
I am so proud of Thor! I posted a few weeks ago about how he was gradually returning the ball closer and closer to me. Well, today he dropped the ball in my hand almost every single time!!
When I originally met him, he loved to chase toys, but like most dogs, he preferred that you then chase after him while he carried the toy. Then one day he seemed to realize that the game lasted longer if he brought the toys back to my general vicinity. I kept treating him when he brought the ball especially close to me. Today, he seems to have finally got it. He looked so happy too, with his little tongue hanging out of his mouth.
Fetch games used to be almost as much exercise for me as it was for him. Mommy's going to have to start hitting the treadmill! |
