I have the Bissell ProHeat 2x Pet and People and I really like it. It does great on getting dirt out but what I like best it the "water rinse" feature. If the cat throws up/has a hairball or the kids drop supper, then I take an enzymatic cleaner (I like Kids N Pets) and let that soak. Then I use my Bissell with the water rinse feature and clean/suck the mess up. No smells and no stains!
