If you know in your heart that this wasn't your baby, then I believe you are right. I recognized Missy the instant I saw her in real life (from when I picked her out in pictures). She looked exactly the same to me, and just had something about her. Even the breeder had troubles telling between the pups in the litter, but not me. I knew that Missy was "the one".
I would demand a refund, assuming that she doesn't still have the other puppy. Then, I'd look elsewhere. Obviously this breeder can't be trusted! I'm so sorry you had to have your heart broken like this.
