So, as I understand it, she doesn't have the puppy you chose anymore? If not, you should be able to get your money back and try again with another breeder. Unless you have fallen in love with the one you have now. As for the weight gain, unless it was on the same scale, I don't know if you can tell how much she gained. (You know how the doctor's scale weighs you heavier...)
