I'm not sure if they were switched or not, but those growth charts are just estimates. The smaller dog now, could end up the bigger dog later and vice versa. Sometimes they stop growing earlier than the growth chart says, and sometimes they grow longer.

6lbs is still a great dog. Our male is 7.3lbs and he is great, still small enough that I can hold him and have him on my lap, but big enough that I don't worry if he jumps off of the couch.

But it certainly isn't right to switch dogs on you, I hope everything works out!
