 Was my puppy switched?
Help me! I am a new mommy. My last Yorkie baby died unexpectedly while my husband and I were on vacation last year. We were devestated. We found a local breeder and I trusted her. I just can't believe that she would switch dogs on me. There were 3 females in the litter. I got first choice and I put a collar on my baby who was the smallest one weighing just a little over a pound at 7 weeks. I really want a smaller dog, 4 lbs would be perfect and all the charts showed that is where she would be. She had a sister who was much larger. I picked her up 6 days later and took her to the vet the next day. She weighed over 2 lbs. Now the charts say I am looking at a 6 lb dog. Her face looks different too and I wonder can they change that much in 6 days or did someone switch dogs on me? My gut tells me they did but what can I do? Any thought? Suggestions? |
