. I've seen a show about pugs who did that and the only advice was to just pick it up right away, which if your dog is like mine, she wakes up in the night to poop and we don't see it until morning. Hopefully someone can post on here that knows more than I do, I just wanted you to know I was thinking about you and your problem!
