Smile Just keep trying! Gets easier!

Owned two yorkies 15 or so years ago and kept them trimmed myself. Watch what the groomers are doing if you can. Have a new Yorkie-Chi aka "Chorkie" . Her name is Bitsy and she looks and acts just like the pedigreed ones I had before. I started trimming the pads on her feet and also trimmed the ears shortly after we brought her home at 10 weeks. She does not mind it at all. Someone on this forum recommended round tipped scissors and they work great. I also find it easier to groom them on a towel placed on the dryer. Less squirming and easier to handle.
