A man hit a 9 year old girl in a crosswalk in Everett, Washington this morning and instead of calling 911 put the child in his car saying he was transporting her to the hospital. Forty minutes later she was dropped off at a mini mart in Shoreline, Washington which is over 12 miles away. She is now in Harborview Hospital with a broken jaw but no life threatening injuries. The driver turned himself in but will not tell the authorities what happened between the time he put her in his vehicle and left her at the mini mart. Oh, and the vehicle was stolen. What a stupid thing to do. I hope he get the dumb criminal of the year award and they throw the book at him. Sorry, I find this so unbelievable I just had to vent.
