My Captain puts up such a terrible fight and is so strong, it is no longer worth it! I take the entire crew up to a local groomer and she can cut the nails on all 5 of my pups in about 10 minutes and charges $5 per dog.
I have tried several places that could eventually get the nails cut, but it was a struggle for them and my pup....so I continued looking until I found this local grommer - the ladies at this shop are so good - my dogs do not fight them and they are quick - they are done with one foot before the pup realizes what is happening. They will even drimmel them after cutting if I want to wait a little longer.
