I am mainly wondering about the size at the beginning as I know, depending on his size, he will need to upgrade to bigger as he grows. His parents are 4lbs and 7lbs, I am just not sure how much weight he will put on in the next few weeks before I pick him up.

And excuse me he will be 11 and a half weeks old, he was born December 6 and I'll be picking him up February 24.
Oh glad he will be older, they bite a lot as puppies, and with those sharp teeth you will be glad, it's not too hard. I pretty much bought the smallest harness they sold. You might want to think about microchipping when he is neutered, as a safety precaution, if they get lost or stolen. It's really inexpensive, less than a lot of collars!
