The reason that I posted my message deals with the fact that I recently received a message from a dear friend in reference to the "swiffer" product, after a liver biopsy on his pet.... and this is not the first instance of this problem that I have been alerted too. It appears that the contents of the "swiffer"product may indeed have attributed to the death of his pet. The "small print" on the label of the product contains a disclaimer stating that the contents of the product ""may be harmful" if ingested by children or animals. A liver biopsy of his pet revealed extremely high levels of a substance contaminating his liver..and the pet was NEVER out of his sight. I feel a personal responsibility to alert owners that the product may indeed be harmful to their pets. It is their decision to research this product.
