Not sure which thread this should go in... my yorkie isn't sick or anything I just have a question.
Have any of you heard before that your Yorkie's Tear Ducks could be a bit small or even a bit clogged and that they could grow out of it or it can be fixed later on?
My Evie is small (a bit over 2lbs) and when we brought her home she was 1.6lbs and when the vet checked her Evie looked like she was crying... she told us that her tear ducks were just so small and would grow with rest of her and the tears (or the luck of crying) would go away... and if not when she is fixed they could put something in them to de-clog them (sp?)...LOL
Anyways... the last two weeks (Evie has gained some weight since then) she didnt appear to look like she was crying... but last night I noticed when I got home that her eyes looked like she was crying again.
I try to keep her dry so she doesn't get a rash (the Vet suggested this)... but is this common for a small dog??
My Alfie never had this problem... he has always been a big boy.
