When I got Penny... I got her a big crate...I put her bed, toy, food & water, and a pee pad in there.. I worked at the time too.....Now she is a yr old...(She was 8 weeks when I got her)...And she loves her crate...she goes there for her quiet time ...on her own... I put her in the crate when I was at work and when I wasn't home...I was too scared to leave her out...She is pad trained so I still keep a pad in there for her...and one in the living room...
I also put towel on top so she felt a little closed in and safe....but she also has slept with me since I got her....
We just got a new baby (6 mos.) she is outside trained..was when I got her..so I don't put a pad in her crate...because she won't use it... Sorry so long....
