I bought the pink playpen & really love it. I tested the bottom floor for you & it is
water-proof,
so using puppy pads would work great in there. Bella also has a playpen that we used when she was younger. Even during her chewing phase, which she seems to have outgrown....she never bothered trying to chew the playpen although she did learn to crawl/jump out. That's why I really love the playpen with zippered top, plus its so great to take on trips.
