I would get to the vet right away. Something similar once happened to Wylie - his eye became irritated, then more raw and he even lost a bit of fur - I took him in and was given prescription ointment. Boom, the itching stopped right away.

Btw, are her "eye allergies" constant or seasonal or ? Dogs who have symptomatic eyes (from allergies) will often have on/off conjunctivitis as well, and that also needs prescription-level ointment.
