My brother lives in our basement and he has a cat. Mu furbaby stays upstairs with us. Every now and then, my brother will bring the cat upstairs so he has a chance to look outside. It seems like when we try to keep them away from each other, then my furbaby gets "aggressive like" towards the cat, but if we just let them go on their own, then they arn't so bad. My furbaby is more people socialized than animal socialized (which was my fault) so she isn't sure how to react with other dogs or cats. I would say to just gradually introduce them to each other, but of course monitor them while they're together. Maybe try a squirt bottle if one tries to get aggressive towards the other to see if that works. Try just a small amount of time and then gradually increase their time with each other. I'm sure someone else on here will be able to give you some better advice. Good luck!
