I'm kind of (slowly) searching to possible adopt another Yorkie puppy. I've just always wondered how you know if the breeder is reputable or not, and how you make sure it's not just a backyard breeder? I did hear to stay away from breeders who use the word "teacup", because there is no such thing. I've been searching a little on the internet, but I could probably never buy a puppy that I haven't even seen before, or seen where it comes from.

However, searching through the breeders websites, I can't really tell if it's a good breeder or not. How do you guys know if they are a good breeder, and doesn't contribute to the suffering of animals?? It's kind of a dumb question, and probably should be pretty obvious, but I just want to make sure that when I get another baby, that they're coming from a healthy background.
